Hello there my lovely hivers!!!! I hope you're all doing well. I'm gonna share a food dish that we rarely cook.
This dish called "binignit" it is traditionally made with glutinous rice cooked in coconut milk with different slices of sabá bananas, sweet potato, and pearl among other ingredients.
The pearl sago and the banana were my favorite among the ingredients. Most of the Filipino people cook this during Good Friday of Holy Week.
My Tita and my mommy planned to cook this dish to savor their cravings. I will share a step-by-step guide on how to cook this sweet dish that you will surely love.
Prepare all the ingredients before you started cooking.
Banana (saba)
sweet potatoes
5 cups of coconut milk (set aside the first 1 cup)
Water
sago
sugar
glutinous rice
landang
First, you must get the coconut inside its shell and get its milk.
Then cut the sweet potatoes into cubes to make it easier to eat.
Put a water into the pot and add the glutinous rice.
Put the coconut milk into the pot and combine it with water. Put some sugar to make it sweet. Let it boil for a while.
Stir it evenly, and peel the banana and slice it into small pieces and put it into the pot. And also the sweet potatoes.
Continue to cook until the ingredients are cooked well.
Ta- da the final product, it looks so tempting right? Transfer it into plates and enjoy.
That's all for today's blog my lovely hivers!!! I hope you learned something on my cooking blog. Godbless. Thankyouuuu for reading till the end.
