This was not my first time in this restaurant. But to be honest, I believe their quality declined. The food didn't feel like before though they have done a lot of renovation work and improved the decor of the restaurant.
Maybe, the ingredients got costly, so they decided to shrink the recipe to accommodate the pricing.
Plus, you mentioned they recently improved their decor, so maybe, they ran out of cash as a result of that.
Or maybe, the chef resigned and they have someone new
Lol... I am just trying to find good excuses for them.
I believe so, that's what they did.
I also was doing the same calculation in my head while having food. lol
