Winter oatmeal cookies

in Foodies Bee Hive2 years ago

The temperature outside has dropped again.
-43.
But finally my temperature dropped too, and my "lie down!" mode changed to "do something already!" mode.

I did, here:

Would you like one of these?

recipe:
butter - 180 gr,
sugar - 255 g (white and brown can be mixed)
eggs - 2 pcs.
flour - 200 g.
oat flakes - 300 g.
baking powder - 8 gr.

All the products are at room temperature. Butter and granulated sugar (I use a mixer), add the eggs, then the flour and baking powder, lastly the cereal. This makes a sticky dough.

I mixed the flour with cocoa powder, I guessed it by eye, but it had to be 200 gr. in the mix. I added chocolate pieces and candied fruits and finely chopped almonds after the flakes.

Baked at 170 degrees for 20 minutes, but you have to watch. Lightly browned on the bottom and top - remove. The cookies are soft at first, then hard (I like hard) If you want them softer, you don't have to flatten the balls, and bake them less.

I had 36 cookies.
You could have put them closer, I was expecting the cookies to get really big, but no, not too big!

Goodness and peace to you all, and delicious cookies!
