Glad to hear that veganism is such an important part of Hinduism. I wish western cultures adopted such traditions too, at least a few times per year. The consumption of meat and other animal products is alarmingly unsustainable in so many parts of the world. Fortunately, more and more young people realize that and they change their eating habits accordingly. I am not a vegan myself but I have been trying to reduce my meat consumption... Thanks for another interesting insight into your culture :)

Good for them I guess :) It´s actually quite fascinating to find out how much nutrition can be easily (and fully) replaced with plant based alternatives...

The way he allows us to look inside his culture is great, i love his posts because we on the wstern cultures dont have those. Even latinos, we have some rituals and stuff left over from indegenous population but are closing on extintion...
