Actually, I personally (like Elon Musk, too) am a big fan of electromobility (already 2017, when most people still didn't believe me, I wrote about the expected rise of the Chinese car manufacturer BYD) and the utilization of photovoltaic to convert sunlight directly into electricity, but that doesn't mean other forms of energy use (and research into them!) should be neglected.

I don't mind electric cars but as of now the cost is prohibitive for most of the people here and we just don't have enough energy to charge 30 milions of cars... Without considering only few houses have the charge station nor there are that many in the cities (where I live it's 1 for 50000 persons)
In case you are living in a sunny country there should be the solution of installing lots of photovoltaic power plants in the future ...
