Synopsis:
Dane Jensen is an executive who is preparing for the professional battle of his life. When your youngest child receives a distressing diagnosis, he is undecided between making his dream come true and spending time with his family.

Damn an upper-middle-class man, husband and family man who works too hard and fails to realize that he is not making the most of the simple and good things that life can offer. He just focuses on competing for a job with his friend to see who will replace the current boss who will retire, and this becomes his biggest mission.
He leaves his family aside, and does not notice the time passing, but is faced with a sad news, which leaves him emotionally shaken, his son is diagnosed with leukemia. Now he wants to spend more time with his son.
In the discussions between Dane and Elise, he thinks of himself as a hero for working late and working overtime all the time, only his wife Elise disagrees saying that it wouldn’t be overworking that would make him a family man and not even a hero, that is, everything has a limit, he should have time for himself and for his family too, to learn to separate things.
Even though he was an excellent professional, he should have known that it was necessary to balance his personal and professional life. And then from there, Dane struggles to find a cure for his son's illness.
This movie made me stop a lot of the brilliant performance of this wonderful actor, whom I love so much, and I see that he is one of the best actors in recent times.
Yes, really ... there are actors that make a difference even in the plot of the film and that makes us passionate about the story. Thank you !
It's kinda sad when people identify themselves with their work, specially if its not driven by passion. Family must come first.
