Usually parents say "You're going to take a shower in 10 minutes, okay?

  • And they hope that, in time, their child will go happily and without complaint.

But they forget that agreements are made by involving the child's in decisions and finding solutions.

Parents and carers usually also neglect the importance of communicating by looking into the child's eyes.

Eye contact is very important to affirm what is being said, it is not interesting to be in a dialogue without being able to offer our presence.

We need to be present and full in our communication.

In this way, an harmonious coexistence is created, respecting the needs of both parents and children.
