C'mon man!! I wish the U.S. Resident was this articulate and dialed in to all that happened. I witnessed all of the events Putin mentioned via U.S. people visiting and filming in the Ukraine. I had high hopes for the Minsk agreement and saw it scrapped. I see Putin as highly tolerant of broken agreements and highly reserved in his responses to our idiot politicians.

The problem underlying the lack of interest of powers such as the U.S. to sit down to dialogue and enter into a serious debate is precisely the inability to defend their narratives with concrete facts or to ignore the latter when they are exposed in the way Putin did. Nevertheless, some positions and assumptions are still debatable, while I believe that Carlson could have touched on some sensitive points in Russian behavior. It could help in the sense of having Putin's reasoning about them.
