Using empty mineral water container I put up a mini-garden of veggies in front of our house. I divided it into two, lengthwise and tied it up to connect it again. I made some holes beneath so that water will not be stagnant. I put an ordinary soil - actually it sandy because there is no available unmixed soil. I removed some big stones and inorganic rubbish.
Initially I planted pechay, radish, onion and pieces of garlic. Those where the veggies I used in cooking yesterday.
Note: You can buy seeds in the market but it takes time to grow.

big thumbs up! no garden, no problem! nice job brother
Just a sort of past time or hobby, thanks @eco-alex.
You can try to make a compost using a small pail. Just mix soil, kitchen scraps, and papers. The kitchen scraps and papers must be cut into small pieces so they can decompose easily. Just keep this mix moist, cover the pail, and after 3 months, you already have healthy soil for your plastic container garden.
Thanks for the suggestion, @romeskie!
