A friend's little cultivate.

Greetings from Venezuela.

Today, there are many plants that we can grow at home without the need to be experts. Just by choosing the seed, adding fertilized soil, removing weeds and adding water, it is enough for our plants to grow successfully.

This is the case of a friend, she had a space in her house and did not know what to put there, until she decided to start her small cultivation. At first she stopped because she thought she needed a lot of knowledge to cultivate, so she decided to search the internet for information to start her small cultivation.

The choice of seed plays a fundamental role, since the selected seeds must be of quality, so that they can grow successfully and in the same way we avoid losses.

I could see that some plants had organic waste (vegetable shells and eggshells), which are very important for our plants:

  1. They fight pests like slugs and snails.
  2. They provide calcium, humus, or compost.
  3. It improves the pH, which reduces the acidity of the soil.
  4. They avoid the degradation of the environment.
  5. They help facilitate water penetration and moisture retention.
  6. They improve the biological activity of the soil.

Growing at home is synonymous with health, there is nothing healthier than growing our own food. Having your own cultivate in house grown is much simpler than you think and will not cost you a lot of money.

Hey, great project! I really hope, I can grow my own food one day. At the moment I'm living in a van, so it's not really possible yet, but I have a little mint plant already, that I try to keep alive ^^

You can start with small seedbeds. They do not take up much space.

It is not only about the space, but also about the climate in a car. At the few places, where there would be enough sunlight, it gets too hot during the day.
But I think I could try to cultivate some more herbs, like basil and parsley.

Very true. Everything in due course.

Coming along great nice work 💯🐒
