RE: Ozempic Week 9 - Obstructions and Bloating 😢😢😢*TMI WARNING!!*

Hang on in there ! You've had an incredibly stressful couple of weeks, but you've still managed to keep going, which just shows that you're stronger than you know.

As for the awful-tasting aloe crystals, will they still work if you mix them with a little bit of honey or stir them into yoghurt ? Have you tried low fat/fat free yoghurt ? I switched to fat free Skyr a few months back, and seriously didn't notice any difference at all in the taste.

Something else I've been trying (because midnight snacks are one of my worst vices) is to have a glass of water first, to see if I was just snacking through dehydration. I've also taken to pre-packing snacks up into, well, snack-sized portions because I know that once I open something I'll keep going until it's all gone.

Good luck and keep battling through !

I am a strong believer in full-fat yoghurt. Low-fat or fat-free does not carry all the health benefits for my gut or for my inherited osteoporosis which is something I can look forward to as I get older. That's also why joint recovery is so important to me right now. I don't eat huge amounts of it, but enough to keep the system going under normal circumstances. Also, fat-free/low-fat products are notorious for extra added sugar - even if you can't taste it. It's what makes it tolerable. It is also over-processed, which means you lose out on a lot of the health benefits of eating yoghurt - not only weight loss.

Midnight snacking is very unusual for me. I think not having Zak with me and knowing he was alone in that hospital bed kept me awake most nights. I have been sleeping far better since his return. As for water, I ALWAYS have two 750ml bottles next to my bed and I take water with me everywhere. I consume well over 3 itres a day which is really good. As for midnight snacking, I have to be seriously motivated as the fridge/freezer is downstairs and my cozy bedroom is upstairs and the stairs literally hurt to descend and acend.
