I am a strong believer in full-fat yoghurt. Low-fat or fat-free does not carry all the health benefits for my gut or for my inherited osteoporosis which is something I can look forward to as I get older. That's also why joint recovery is so important to me right now. I don't eat huge amounts of it, but enough to keep the system going under normal circumstances. Also, fat-free/low-fat products are notorious for extra added sugar - even if you can't taste it. It's what makes it tolerable. It is also over-processed, which means you lose out on a lot of the health benefits of eating yoghurt - not only weight loss.
Midnight snacking is very unusual for me. I think not having Zak with me and knowing he was alone in that hospital bed kept me awake most nights. I have been sleeping far better since his return. As for water, I ALWAYS have two 750ml bottles next to my bed and I take water with me everywhere. I consume well over 3 itres a day which is really good. As for midnight snacking, I have to be seriously motivated as the fridge/freezer is downstairs and my cozy bedroom is upstairs and the stairs literally hurt to descend and acend.
