The ritual of playing music is such a great thought.
This disposability of consumable digital media appears to be the way of the future. Music, tv and film and has gone digital but there are a small but growing amount of hold outs.
I still have a lot media I've kept over the years and I find myself becoming so lazy. All I need to do is move and do a little searching yet the allure of a few clicks mostly wins out. Once you do take the effort I find I'm more engaged especially in music when I tune out and focus solely on that task.
Now the big issue is hoarding the devices that can still play this media.
Great write up and keep making music.
I'm not sure for the cassettes, but vinyl record players are still avaiable and I think they will last a long time. Yes exactly, just too lazy, that's it. Better to click quickly and put up with the poor audio quality of a computer or smartphone than to get up, move and make good sound.
I have to change this bad habit :-) thanks for your comment :-)
