I remember last year before we crossed over to the new year, some of friends and I had our friends hangout to mark the end of the year and the start to a new one. A couple of friends came, we talked, we ate, we drank, we danced and it was all fun.
I remember our major point of discussion was how we were going to spend the new year, maximizing our time to achieve our hopes and dreams. We wanted to achieve all our goals this year because the year we were in did not give us what we wanted. So, most of us wrote down what we wanted to achieve for the year and we were excited about our goals and aims.
Yesterday, I decided to reach out to my friends and ask them about the plans we all made for the year. I was impressed by the feedback I received from them, some have made progress thus far, others are still working on it. There were some that had already given up, so I encouraged them not to give up since the year is still fresh. I have been on the way to progress myself, and it has not been easy but we just have to keep trying harder.
You should not give up on your dreams, it's still early in the year for that. Make the year count.
