Were the handmade quilts for sale / raffle or only being judged as I didn't see any ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ ribbons on them. I zoomed in on my smartphone and decided the top left quilt with the variety of cute birds is my favorite!๐ฆ
Never ever have I seen table settings being judged in a fair. How fun! ๐ฝ๐ท๐๐ฝ

Talk about food! Calamari, fish and chips, smoked turkey legs, kebobs, tacos and so much more yummy food all in one place? I feel like I gained weight just looking at the selections! ๐ฎ๐โ๐๐คฐ

The Yolo County Fair is the largest and oldest free gate fair in California. It sits in a 55-acre area! You can just imagine how big it is.
Perhaps I can show the rest of the quilts in a separate article. There were so many of them. I would have a challenge if I were a judge in such a competition.
Yeah, table setting was my first too, hahaha!

It must take weeks to set up and days to take down. How much fun it must be to try and see as much as possible when you're there.๐

I need to add seeing this county fair to my bucketlist along with hitting a couple California vineyards. Last time I visited your gorgeous state one of my kids was underage so we went to Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks instead of wineries.๐๐ท๐๐ท๐

Yes! I am hoping for the county๐ fair ๐ will have ๐ฎ livestock ๐ again๐! It was a huge part of the fair.
But every one enjoyed it just the same. For the exhibitors, I bet the set up and breakdown was part of the fun!!!
