Feliz y bendecido día para todos, feliz navidad, hoy un día muy especial y creo que no soy la única en sentirse así, pues es la oportunidad de compartir con nuestros seres queridos, les cuento que en los últimos días en mi país hay constante preocupación pro el suministro de gas, por eso en muchos hogares se cuestionaban si era conveniente hacer la cena navideña, sin embargo, en mi caso gracias a Dios contamos con la bombona de gas recargada y estábamos listos para hacer las hallacas, pero como siempre en mi país se vive una cosa tras otra, así que no teníamos agua, fue ayer que finalmente el señor del tanque vino a recargar el agua en nuestro hogar.

Happy and blessed day to everyone, Merry Christmas, today is a very special day and I think I'm not the only one who feels this way, because it is the opportunity to share with our loved ones, I tell you that in recent days in my country there is constant concern about the gas supply, that is why in many homes they questioned whether it was convenient to make Christmas dinner, however, in my case thank God we had the gas cylinder refilled and we were ready to make the hallacas, but as always in my country we go through one thing after another, so we had no water, it was yesterday that finally the tanker man came to refill the water in our home.

Yo no perdí el ánimo por el atraso de tiempo, me levanté muy temprano hoy y puse manos a la obra para limpiar las hojas de plátano, incluso antes que se levantaron mi hija y mi nieto, desafortunadamente los tres tenemos gripe pero no tan grave, tomamos algunos medicamentos e infusiones naturales y no sentíamos mejor, mi hija me ayudo a picar los ingredientes, yo me ocupé de cocinar el guiso y después preparar la masa.

I did not lose heart because of the time delay. I got up very early today and got to work cleaning the banana leaves, even before my daughter and grandson got up. Unfortunately, all three of us have the flu, but it is not that bad. We took some medicines and natural infusions and we did not feel better. My daughter helped me chop the ingredients, I took care of cooking the stew and then preparing the dough.

Luego que estuvo listo el guiso y la masa, nos reunimos los tres a la mesa para hacer las hallacas, mi hija y yo las armábamos las hallacas, asegurándonos de no olvidar ningún paso y también de no mezclar las hallacas que eran de pollo con las vegetarianas para mi nieto, por otro lado mi nieto se ocupó de amarrar las hallacas, él se sentía muy motivado con su parte del trabajo.

After the stew and dough were ready, the three of us gathered at the table to make the hallacas. My daughter and I assembled the hallacas, making sure not to forget any steps and also not to mix the chicken hallacas with the vegetarian ones for my grandson. On the other hand, my grandson took care of tying the hallacas; he felt very motivated with his part of the work.

Estoy muy contenta porque se logró, es una bendición poder hacer la comida que tanto disfrutamos en esta fecha, estoy agradecida por tener nuevamente una feliz navidad con mis seres queridos, ofreciéndoles lo que mas me gusta que es cocinar para ellos, creo que todos quedamos un poco cansados hoy 24 pero aun así valió la pena.

I am very happy because it was achieved, it is a blessing to be able to make the food that we enjoy so much on this date, I am grateful to have a happy Christmas again with my loved ones, offering them what I like most, which is cooking for them, I think we were all a little tired today, the 24th, but it was still worth it.
