That is true, thank you! I only recently powered up to this threshold so I have been enjoying the manual curation and my votes having some weight/meaning behind them. But in the same turn if I can increase my current curation return through delegation, it is kind of appealing

You can do both, and you can change your mind at any time -- just understand, though, that when your delegate, you are spreading your vote strength out. I build my delegation stacks by deciding a level I want to vote at manually, and then delegating HP I receive after that.

So, say for example: you have 1,000 HP that you are voting manually with, and you are happy with that. Keep earning on Hive and look at the HP you have earned at the end of January. Delegate that HP out to a good project. Then, do the same thing at the end of February, and so on

If you want to accelerate having more HP to delegate, you can also set some of your posts to pay you entirely in HP so you get twice as much HP -- if I wanted to build a delegation stack fast, that's what I would do.

Thank you Deeann that's a wonderful insight and very inspirational too. I think I will definitely take a page out of your book going forward into 2025 and start tracking my curation earnings to delegate out at the start/end of each month!

Due to my stake being so low until the previous month or so I've never really thought about expanding out like that, but thank you again that's a wonderful way to go about things.

Have a wonderful day!
