Some say adding milk to your coffee has benefits, but others say that the milk negates the benefits of the coffee itself. I'm just enjoying a morning cup with frothy goodness.

I just enjoy my coffee more when it is with milk... well, cream, actually. That's my morning treat, actually... a bit like starting the day with dessert!

Cream is so smooth and tasty. I bought cereal milk by accident the other day, so it's half-and-half, and that worked great too because it was creamy. Then I discovered it also works amazing for hot chocolate 🤤

I think it is down to your own enjoyment on how you choose to have your coffee,
as a brit i prefer tea :D

Tea is excellent. Scientists say that habitual tea drinkers have better neuro-structural connectivity, associated with better cognition. I have at least one cup a day (earl gray, green, or herbal). I'm fascinated by how much Brits love tea. Do you have a favourite?

Mostly my wife drinks it but it yorkshire tea with 2 teaspoons of honey and a drop of milk
and now i know why she so much smarter then me :)

Hehe. Better start chugging those pints of tea 🍵

Honestly, I don't see any harm in mixing milk with coffee.

Enjoy your breakfast.

It has health benefits apparently, and it's delicious.

For sure hehehe...

Why not both? I have a cup of black French Press before I leave home in the morning, then I have lattes any time I want it during the day at work.

I mostly drink my coffee black using an aeropress or drip cone, but after reading about the benefits of adding milk, I got that frother in the photo. So, now my morning coffee looks like the one shown.

That's an interesting piece of information. I wonder how much of the milk/coffee combo someone would have to drink to feel any anti-inflammatory effects.

Great question. The study authors didn't recommend a ratio of milk to coffee. but it should be around 1-2% milk to coffee, if I remember correctly. Too much milk risks diluting coffee benefits. Generally, they say to use dairy milk (soy or almond if lactose intolerant).

Just drink the way that makes you happiest. 😌

Absolutely! ☕️
