Because?
Do people really find for instance 100+ dollar for a blogpost a fair amount?
And there are just a few that get those amounts. And usually the same people as well.

None of us can truly agree on what true value means to begin with. I'm sure there's a few people that find my writing trash, and yet I pour my soul into it. So, there's that reality to consider.

I find abuse and use, to be akin to microbiota. Balance = life

Sure, the value of a post can be different depending on who you ask.
But if you don't compare the content, but the effort that has been put into it, the difference between your posts that earn $3 - $15 and other posts that make over $100 sometimes even over $200 is just too big.

You know what would really fix this place up? A strong middle class. A collective that can make a difference. Voting for proposals, contributing to quality content, setting the culture.

If you ask me, we have a distribution problem and hence these imbalances show up.

True...
But when the middle class also configures autovoting and trail following it won't fix anything.

Just to clarify: When you say autovoting, you mean vote for vote?

Not curation trails, I hope.

I don't know what you mean by vote for vote, but I mean autovoting like you can do with the hive.vote service. And you can also follow curation trails there.

I'm not against autovoting or trails, but I am when the automatic vote is on a post already has a lot of rewards.

In my opinion 😉
