Yeah, I bought a high end scanner about 8 years ago to scan in the 2500 some slides. Some were in pretty good shape but time had taken its toll. The scanner software and Adobe Lightroom helped me restore a lot of them.
Omg 2500 vintage photos? Whoa your dad's dedication to film photography is π π
That's just the slides. I have a few thousand prints and negatives from my parents and grandparents. My dad was really into it like you said. Plus I have a few hundred of my own prints before I went digital. π
I would say that's your family treasure.
My parents also take care the prints so well but the negatives were all gone π.
It looks like promotional material for some kind of campaign (children's clothing type). π

Down by the falls is pretty high. this here is not too bad but fall in the river and you go over the falls. lol
I looked at Google earth and they have railings where I am sitting now.
