In Nigeria, it is customary to attend a vigil on Christmas eve, there is always plenty of fireworks and knockouts to celebrate the season, as well as joyful noise of Christmas by 12am.
Both children and adults experience the season differently.
Children visit friends, relatives, and reception parks while wearing their new Christmas ball gowns because, if it's not a new ball gown, it's not Christmas, while the majority of adults stay at home to greet guests, cook festive feasts, and fry chicken.
Christmas is all about joy and getting together with loved ones to enjoy the holiday. People also visit orphanages and prisons to share gifts and show their support.
