I don't feel like writing. I think all my friends around the world will know why. Sagaing, where I live, was hit by a 7.7 Richter scale earthquake on 28-3-2025, causing a lot of damage and killing many people. The powerful earthquake destroyed many houses and buildings, including Sagaing Bridge, which is the pride of Sagaing City, as well as pagodas held in high esteem by Buddhists. As a result, all the mosques where Muslims worship were destroyed. It was covered with cries and cries. I was unable to write because I was experiencing this situation. A powerful earthquake left families looking at their happy homes in fear. Even now, looking at the house, they are still afraid. They are still afraid to enter the house and live. They are still sleeping on the side of the road.
စာရေးရန်စိတ်မပါဘူး။ ဘာ့ကြောင့်လည်းဆိုတာ ကမ္ဘာအရပ်ရပ်မိတ်ဆွေများအားလုံးလည်း သိကြလိမ့်မယ်လို့ထင်ပါတယ်။ ကျွန်တော်နေထ်ုင်ရာ စစ်ကိုင်းမြို့ကလေးက 28-3-2025 နေ့က လှုပ်ခတ်သွားတဲ့ အင်အား ရစ်ချတာစကေး 7.7 အားပြင်းငလျင်ကြီးကြောင့် ပျက်စီးဆုံးရှုံးမှုများစွာဖြစ်ခဲ့ရသလို လူတွေအများကြီးသေဆုံးခဲ့ရပါတယ်။ အင်အားပြင်းငလျင်ကြီးက ဗုဒ္ဓဘာသာဝင်တွေ အထွဋ်အမြတ်ထားကြတဲ့ စေတီတော်တွေ စစ်ကိုင်းမြို့ရဲ့ ဂုဏ်ယူစရာ စစ်ကိုင်းတံတားကြီးအပါအဝင် နေအိမ်အဆောက်အဦများစွာကို ဖျက်ဆီးပစ်လိုက်ပါတယ်။ ဒါအပြင့် အစ္စလာမ်ဘာသာဝင်တို့ရဲ့ ဘုရားဝတ်ပြုဆုတောင်းတဲ့ ဗလီအားလုံးဟာလည်း ပျက်စီးသွားခဲ့ရပါတယ်။ အော်ဟစ်ငြီးတွားသံတွေ ငိုကြွေးသံတွေနဲ့ ဖုံးလွှမ်းနေခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ဒီလိုအခြေအနေနဲ့ တွေ့ကြုံနေရတဲ့အတွက် စာမရေးနိုင်ခဲ့ပါဘူး။ အင်အားပြင်းငလျင်ကြောင့် မိသားစုပျော်ရွှင်စရာနေအိမ်တွေကို ကြည့်ရင်းကြောက်လန့်နေကြရတယ်။ ခုချိန်ထိလည်း အိမ်ကိုကြည့်ရင်း ကြောက်စိတ်တွေဖြစ်နေကြဆဲပါပဲ။ အိမ်ထဲကိုဝင်ပြီးနေထိုင်ဖို့ ကြောက်လန့်နေကြဆဲပါ။ လမ်းဘေးမှာနေ လမ်းဘေးမှာစား လမ်းဘေးမှာအိပ်နေကြဆဲပါပဲ။
Almost all of Sagaing's famous landmarks, where I often proudly competed, were destroyed in an instant. This week's contestant photo for the Around The World Challenge shared a picture taken while helping a friend who couldn't get out after a collapsed shop. That friend had to be rescued for more than 6 hours. Luckily he survived.
ကျွန်တော်မကြာခဏ ဂုဏ်ယူစွာ ပြိုင်ပွဲဝင်ခဲ့တဲ့ စစ်ကိုင်းမြို့က ကျော်ကြားထင်ရှားတဲ့အရာအားလုံးနီးပါးဟာ တခဏလေးအတွင်းမှာ ပျက်စီးသွားခဲ့ပါပြီ။ ဒီတစ်ပတ် Around The World Challenge အတွက်ပြိုင်ပွဲဝင်ဓာတ်ပုံကို ဆိုင်ခန်းပြိုကျပျက်စီးပြီး မထွက်နိုင်တဲ့ သူငယ်ချင်းတစ်ယောက်ကို ကူညီကယ်ဆယ်ရင်းနဲ့ ရိုက်ယူခဲ့တဲ့ပုံကိုမျှဝေလိုက်ရပါတယ်။ အဲဒီသူငယ်ချင်းကို ၆ နာရီကျော်ကြာအောင် ကယ်ထုတ်ခဲ့ရပါတယ်။ ကံကောင်းစွာနဲ့ အသက်ရှင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။

It's so sad to read about the earthquake that hit your city, destroying lives and properties. I know this has been devastating for you and your family, including the entire city.
