I was debating in which community to post the following story as this is a classic #Homesteading one but eventually opted for #Ecency.
when Email became the main way we correspond, the good old "normal" mail, got the nickname "Snail-mail" π for obvious reasons.
so the other day when I checked my post office box in the village and found this with a large snail feeding on it, it made me laugh.
I hardly ever get anything and very rarely check this box unless I am waiting on something so it was funny to find this guy that moved in (not surprising with all that rain..) and was munching on my car insurance renewal letter.
at best I get some publicity from a supermarket in town, so this one was a way nicer surprise.
now IΒ΄ll just have to figure out a way to pay the insurance...

It's so funny! I also have a mailbox for paper mail and I almost never look there. We'll have to check it out, in case someone already lives there π
