I'm not trolling. It's a fact. Nothing to do with free speech on that part. It just is that way.
Everything done on the chain is a transaction and all transactions have fees.
Logging in and out, voting, commenting, etc.
If enough people disapprove of it, it can be coded to be where we each pay for our own just as blurt. Would you prefer that?
The fee on Hive for posting is Resource Credits, and they refresh like voting power. I like that.
On Blurt, you have to spend the coins, so you either have to hope your post gets voted enough (you gotta be popular, like on Hive) to post again, and reply to the comments, etc., or you have to buy more of their coins. There is no auto refresh. They are literally charging you to post.
While Hive is also technically charging you something, they're also giving you more of it for free, they aren't making you buy it.
I'm sure you understand this difference, but you seem to want to argue about it anyway. That's why it looks like trolling.
You like Blurt better? Send some Blurt to @paradoxtma, and I'll argue with you over there instead. I'm certainly not going to pay the whales over there just for the privilege of a conversation like this. On Hive, I can do it for free.
