RE: HIVE Witnesses and Governance on HIVE .:. Hive Humpday Hangout Ep.33 (Wednesday, November 13th, 5 PM UTC)

in Ecency4 months ago

I have just 4 or 6 witness I actually vote for and not more than that. A few times I have revoked the witnesses I vote for and vote other ones. Although my vote my not really matter, because I have a small stake.
I think sometimes I prefer to know the witnesses I vote for, to some understandable level.
I once revoked my witness vote for a person because they were in liason with a whale that incessantly DVs people.
So, I think people need to actually check the WV almost all the time

Thanks for sharing your workaround voting for witnesses! That's exactly what I would like to hear in the show... People sharing how they vote, and why they vote for some witnesses...

As a witness (with @Liotes), it hurts to see when someone revokes the vote, but that's normal and understandable... Not everyone has the same views about the work that some witnesses do... I noticed that people don't like many things that I said, or what Liotes is doing... For example... Trying to reward the valuable posts on HIVE, instead of automatically upvoting others is a bad thing in the eyes of some... :)

So, in general, I try not to take it personally... As our witness income goes back to the project, supporting token owners, and if someone wants to shoot in their own foot, well, let it be... 😃

Trying to reward the valuable posts on HIVE, instead of automatically upvoting others is a bad thing in the eyes of some... :)

Anyone who thinks is a bad thing probably doesn't have a thing for good content creation, automation of vote probably should mainly be to keep one's vote from getting to getting to 100% and that's it.
However, I don't think a lot of people are expressive about their witness choices, which I think we should do at all times.
