One of the stories I like to tell is how I met my "business" partner Achim here on HIVE... To tell it again, here is probably the perfect place to do it... If you are following my account or/and interacted with me in the comment section, you have probably realized that I like to write long(er) comments, especially if I'm inspired by the topic... 😃 (Sorry if you don't like to read long comments)... But, if you write long comments, people tend to notice you... The same was with @achim03, where we had a few long discussions in the comment sections and decided to raise the level and do more stuff on HIVE together! The rest is history... 🙂

Why are meaningful comments crucial on HIVE? You can write super-great posts, you can create amazingly beautiful photos, and create unique fictional stories... But without engagement in the comment section, all that is perceived like when you are watching a "romantic comedy" movie... You like it, but you forget about it in 2 hours... When you dive into the comment section of posts, that's the place where you find additional info about the author, where you can CONNECT with it, and where you can add certain values, qualities (or defects), to the username or the person... I would dare to say that it's the ONLY WAY you can make friends on HIVE!
This is where our #HHHLive show guest comes in. @FriendlyMoose has initiated an amazing project called @topcomment, which searches meaningful comments on HIVE and rewards them! It incentivizes interaction, but not all comments but specifically those that have meaning and value to the post/comment authors and other readers! All that helps a lot with bringing value to the comment section (that is often neglected) and not just posts!
Taken from @topcomment's profile bioTopcomment will reward valuable comments. Have you seen a valuable comment by another Hiver, just mention @topcomment in a reply to that comment.
I couldn't hide my delight when I saw an initiative like that as it was needed so much! Also, when @FriendlyMoose came to one of the previous #HHHLive shows and said a few words about @topcomment, it was written in the sky that we have to have a whole show dedicated to him and his project! So, here we are!
What will we talk about on the #HHHLive show? You know that we like to have relaxed shows, especially when we have special guests... Before we find out more about his project, we will have to find out more about @FriendlyMoose himself, where he comes from, and how he got to the point of starting such a cool initiative... As I didn't know him before the @topcomment launch, I am curious to hear more about his background, how he came into the crypto and blockchain world, and, of course, how he got involved in HIVE...
As #HHHLive isn't just an "ordinary, one-man" show, I hope other participants will jump in and ask questions in the second part of it... The mic is open for questions, ideas, and maybe contributions. All in all, I know we will have a good time, so don't miss it! As of daylight savings and also the busy schedule of our guest, the time of running the show is moved for a bit later...

Engaging is fun to do. I have also been known to get lengthy sometimes in comments. I have been the receiptant of topcommentor a couple of times. Its a good initiative but I never write long to get noticed though. I'm still going through a bit of a grind hopefully I'll return my normal hivian status. Sounds like a fun show wish I could attend. Brother! I see you will have a great program today. For a long time now I have noticed a lot of people interested in growing a project that enhances the comments on Hive, but they end very quickly, but Top Comment is the exception and everyone is noticing it. There is a great team behind it and it is definitely here to stay... Yes, commenting is the first step to gain friendships on Hive, then comes the interaction outside of Hive, as it has happened to you, and eventually a coffee somewhere hahaha, that's my process and I think yours too... I won't lie to you, right now I don't know when I will return to Spain, but I can assure you that it won't be in 2025. I hope to do it, I have a connection with that country and with many people, especially with our team, it seems like a Spanish delegation...
I confess that we have more and more desire to migrate, but everything would have to be well planned to not fail, here life gets harder every day that passes, hopefully we get a good musical job in Madrid or Valencia 🙏
I know how you feel... We had a similar journey with migrating, and I wanted to make it as smooth as possible... Of course, the reality wasn't like that, but at least we have covered a few important things and had time to adapt... It's not an easy step to do...

The comment section is definitely where the human relations are built. We should all put more importance to that part of the content creation.
Maybe the TopComment initiative will inspire and remind people about that! Nothing motivates better than a small monetary incentive... 🙂
The comment section is where I've met great people. It's even better because on Hive, people are truer: you get to know them, build things with them and perhaps become close with them. Infact, many even go ahead to meet their partners here. It's only on Hive. Sometimes we forget how essentially powerful this can be.
That is amazing, and I can confirm it is true! I know of at least 3 couples that met and moved further in their relationship thanks to HIVE!
There is no more genuine proof of the importance of engagement and comments!
I think the length of a comment depends on the subject. Sometimes I write longer, and sometimes shorter comments :)
By the way, upvoting comments earn us author rewards even if a little bit :)
Comments are priceless and a very important part of any social network... Of course, you can't write a long comment on every post... Sometimes, the author doesn't give you much space to give your opinion...
To avoid that, I like to write "unfinished" posts and to leave people to give their ending... 😃

I think it was necessary to talk about this topic. However, I must say that I enjoy reading the posts because in some cases I find myself gabbling with the author, conveying my excitement about their work. But there are times when the content exceeds my expectations, and I can't come up with a comment expressive enough. Or maybe I prefer to be precise. I digress.
The point is that it also depends on my mood and personality. I am very grateful for this post.
