It's an interesting emotion, that of pride, as it is often seen as positive and also a negative thing depending on the person and situation. I've felt pride in my achievements knowing how hard I've worked for them, but at what point does that cross over to avarice, vanity, greed, hubris and other such things? I don't know the answer however I've heard people say that pride leans us away from humility and towards other less productive emotions.
Many have allowed pride to be their downfall through failure to seek or value assistance, support and guidance from others and I believe that through building better relationships our passage through this world will be easier; pushing people away who seek to assist us won't help to build those relationships. I work towards feeling different things about my achievements like contentment, satisfaction and happiness rather than feeling pride and I work to foster better connections with people I value, to find more meaningful relationships, and that means admitting I need help sometimes, saying thank you and showing gratitude.
I'm not sure if pride is good or bad but I think about a parent feeling proud of their child and cannot think that's a negative thing although can understand someone being prideful, stubborn and selfish because of it, as somewhat of a negative.
Exactly pride has two points of view, I think there should be two different words for them as they differ so much from each other. And I think as you mentioned satisfaction goes more with the positive point.

Sorry for the late reply, I've been enjoying life with a guy I know who makes my knees go weak and my heart flutter. He's been spoiling me a bit, but I don't mind.
