We are having a basically similar issue, the landlord came to install a borehole and since it's installed when there's load shedding the water doesn't pump 😃
I ended up buying water and refilling it so I don't get sick.

Completely crazy domino effect, guess we won't see them do anything in a hurry considering all politicians have backup services, they have to have electricity 24/7 "their job"....
