Yeah, there's always consequences and it's up to the individual to make them positive or negative, and accept the fact that sometimes those consequences might be costly. You know who is finding out.

Its quite something when you see someone visibly and in a self aware way make choices that later on they lament and say "why does this always happen to me?" when the consequences fall. I have a close relative that does exactly that all the feecking time

People are weak of mind, no fortitude, and it often seems easier to them to blame (not themselves) rather than accept liability and make better choices the next time. Then, they find themselves doing the same things and because they are often entitled, expecting different results. Bonkers really. The only good thing is that you or I are not those people...everyone else is on their own...but don't have to be...there's plenty of resources out there to educate and help people get better at being themselves.
