The more we are moving towards adapting the advance technology the more we are leaving behind the age old tradition and culture. It is hard to estimate how much we have forgone in the race to development and also earning money. There are many instances that we see in everyday life. Lifestyle are changing and so does the people mindset. India is known for it's custom, culture and tradition but now I think the new generation is finding it hard to carry on with the legacy.
No funeral
Recently there was an instance in India, on the death of the one of the business tycoon his funeral was not attended by their son. Neither they made visit to meet him during his last time. They were enjoying their life in abroad (outside india). This is something very awkward as the funeral process includes a lot of rituals to follow. It was also mention in the vedas and ancient scripture. But the absence of the son means, no rituals to follow. It was a strange situation, but the family are ready to sacrifice their age old tradition. No one could ever expected such and end.
Forgone Agriculture
The more complexity going to happen in the agriculture field. The economy of the country is majorly depends upon it's agriculture sector. But as the modernization happening, People are happening to forgone the art of farming. Recently while snapping up some photographs of the age old ploughing techniques. This very thought took over my mind. GenZ are not much aware of the old techniques and they find it easy to follow the new agriculture technique. But the problems is nobody is ready to take up the job. 80% of people in my village who involved in agriculture are people who has crossed 50 years of age. Their following generation are not ready to do the job. As they find happiness in carrying out other task. They are ready to labourers work or other small works in city. But are not ready to settle in village to support their parents.
Old farmers are not ready to adapt to new techniques of farming, as they find the tradional method easy and effective and cheap, while the new generation are not interested in doing agriculture job. When I had a chat with a village boy who visited his home during festival, said that there is nothing in the field of farming and it can easily been managed with tractors or employing others. He was not at all concerned with the rising prices and cost involved in the new technology for agriculture. For him it was like back of his hand. He might be taking the job lightly, But what I have observed in my short stay is that it takes a lot of patience and inner strength to carry out typical farming. You need to contact on toes once the seeds were sown. Looking at the casual approach of the new generation, I doubt they ever able to sustain the living on agriculture. It is so strange that their parents are not forcing them to the agriculture. As they know it takes a he'll lot of effort.
We are not same anymore
As the new generation comes into existence, the old generation were left behind. We can not able to do what our father's did and we can never be like them. Their thought process, their strength, their stamina, is far better than us, and as our next generation are coming, they will not be like us. There is a reduction in every aspect as we move ahead in life. My nephew who is 20 years younger than me unable to trek while I did. There is vast change in the approach and also the body ability.
Seeing everything I doubt that the age old techniques of agriculture ever be carried forward. The legacy is still intact in many region and looking at the effort put in by the farmers we can apply appreciate their contribution towards yhe economy. No matter what going to happen in the coming days but the over the time this agriculture culture could meet in an unexpected end.
The way we are moving so rapidly, it is important to apply a break to check, learn and then adapt as per the situation.

The notion that each generation differs from the previous one in terms of mindset, strength, and stamina is a thought-provoking reflection on the evolving nature of human existence. The observation about the diminishing ability of the newer generation to undertake tasks that the older generation could speaks to the broader changes in lifestyle, work, and physical activity.
I alwsys tried to be my dad...but his stature is beyond reach in every aspect....now what I am observing in my next generation is clearly showing how the lifestyle brings about changes in every aspect of life
It is very sad what you are saying, that a son does not attend his father's funeral... whatever culture it is. What do the young people of today think about, what happened to traditions? It's as if their minds have been taken over by something, I don't know.
What I do know is that they are losing basic things like human contact, emotions, feelings... life itself...

The only thing important is not to forget the "roots" that what taught to me. Roots is importanfor sustainability. I have seen people shifting to city and forgets about their families and relatives and they try to adapt among the unknown world
One comes from one's roots and it is important to always remember them, whatever the origin or country. That is what we bring from birth. Hug!

It is true... it is up to us not to lose what we have been bequeathed.
One of the saddest things I read on the internet so far.
I mean all the struggle of life is for that moment only right, to take one last look at the legacy that you are leaving behind. I can't even imagine the mental pain such behaviour caused to the father.
Shame on them.
But such a world we are living in.

It is always good to see your viewpoint. Atleast It allow me to know what the mid range generstion looks things differently. ..they are the bridge between the new and old.....I am waiting for the farming essay
