Indeed. I agree that on Hive, as with real life- you reap what you sow.
If you work hard and do your work, you benefit.
Some people seem to get away with an imbalance. Low effort with high reward or zero consequences. When that goes on too long we end up with spoiled children both young and old.
I work hard to prevent the former in my own kids and work with some of the latter....
This sounds like a relative we have that is in their 50s now and still has no ownership of their life.
Indeed. And blaming everyone else for their shortcomings right?
Everyone and everything.
Indeed. I know a few such adults...
I reward hard work, and have personally be rewarded for hard work, which is fine by me...I don't want handouts, charity or pity...I want to earn what I get. Society is full of people cutting corners, trying to find the easy way or options, and yet they want to be highly rewarded for that lack of effort; it's creating lazy people, shoddy work and output, dumbing people down and rewarding entitled behaviour. No Bueno.
Indeed.
I think entitlement is a strongly negative word since it exemplifies people who assume they will be obeyed and/or rewarded for nothing other than their status.
Rewarded/deserving of reward implies work.
Entitled people do not like work.
I suppose that these days we find entitled people among both the rich and the poor. Those in the middle usually have a better perspective. But it is not a garuantee!
Yeah, those entitled assholes are everywhere and from all walks of life. It's an easy option to feel that way, whine and complain rather than get in there and get stuff done, take ownership and show responsibility. People are always looking for the east way.
