I've never seen one in all the years I've lived here, and I've driven at all hours of the day and night. I'm not specifically sure where they live but there are lots of places around they could live, I guess they prefer hideouts like wood piles and shrubs. This one snuck into a backyard and likely was it's home somewhere back there, though I don't know where as I'm not familiar with the yard!
