Yesterday I came back from a pretty successful photography trip in Vienna. Since Stefan and I haven't been to Vienna for a while we decided to go for a trip there and enjoy the beautiful day in the City with some urban wildlife photography. We had luck that the baby bunnies were out in the park and I could take several nice pictures of these sweet little fellas. They really look heart melting especially when they play with each other and smell the other bunnies. Since they also have a spot with some natural shadow from trees and bushes it is the perfect place for some photography and every time I am there I enjoy it very much.
Eventhough Easter holiday is already over for this year and I always like seeing some bunnies during the easter time, the best time is probably now when they have their offspring and the baby bunnies are so cute to watch. Exploring one of their first steps on the world. Being born in a vibrant City like Vienna they are used to human presence and therefore it is easier for me to take some pictures of them.
The ground Squirrels and the hamsters also were on our list yesterday and I could also take some pictures of them. But since the bunnies still were so little (at least the baby bunnies) I think the most heart melting situations happened there. I will show you some pictures of the hamsters, birds and ground squirrels we encountered this day in an future article here on Hive.

SUCH CUTIES!!! I love those glowy highlights, it looks like they are in a fantasy world and almost like you set them there for a photoshoot. Perfect catch! :D
Thank you!
Adorable! ❤️
Amazing! Very good photography, continue this way.
Thank you!
What a wonderful opportunity to capture them quietly enjoying the outdoors so early in their little lives.
Thanks for sharing the magic!
Thank you for the nice words.
They are gorgeous!
Oh gosh, this is so cute! But now, I'm very curious, at what distance from these little cute fellows were you taking these photographs? These little bunnies are usually not very willing to stay put, they are often skittish. I'm asking because I also was eyeing this lens, or the 50-500 because I could also use it all-round at smaller distances. Were the photos shot at 600mm or less?
AS you can read under each picture, I used the füll 600mm focal lenght of my lens. Eventhough they vor pretty close, i still needed to Zoom in as much AS possible to get these closeup pictures.
Oh, how cute they are!😊
Yes, I would have liked to cuddle them, but for this they are to shy. 😂
This is so cute
