I always love catching my own food. I'm currently waiting for bass to start running in my area to go out and fish some. When they start running the wharf becomes the local hang out spot at night, and there's so much around all you have to do is drop your line right off the edge of the wharf.

That's awesome! We're definitely gonna be exploring more fishing spots in our area after this awesome trip. We caught 8 fish (1 got away and 1 released) in 4 hours so we were pretty happy. Not quite like just dropping the line though.
The reason why bass is so easy to catch where I'm at is because the waters are polluted with them, which sucks because they're an invasive species. They put up one hell of a fight though and are fun to reel in.
8 fish in 4 hours is pretty damn good. There were a few times I was out for that long with only nibbles and no bites.
