My wife loves warm and cozy places, so, whatever I do somewhere in cold and uncomfy places, I will be safe from her frying pan, believe me 🤣
So you have never woken up in the morning under an icy blanket like we did as kids when the fire died in the stove during the night? Icy temperatures inside the house and you had to scratch the ice from the window to see the weather outside ❄️ and the branches still didn't break 🤣

Oh yes I did. Remember as a kid I had to sleep on the floor for a long time.
It was wooden floors and the cold in winter would creep up through the planks. Nothing like your cold, but still very cold. Some mornings I was also iced, but the branch was always safe 🤣🤣🤣
We didn't have a stove inside the house and the 4 girls, gran, mom and my 2 sisters slept in one bed, so I was banned from their bed 🙂

Oh yes, I think I remember that you have already told me about that.
We have had one big bed and a small bed in our first sleeping room before we moved to ou rown rooms. There we have had one normal bed, where our oldest sister slept and a big bed, where my brother, my other sister and I slept together :)

Hahaha, one can do all kinds of things to avoid boredom my friend.
I worked for 5 years at a cigarette manufacturing company as a high speed machine technician.
2 weeks day shift and 2 weeks night shift. I was in charge of 4 machines and once that the operators started the machines after I had completed all of the start up tests, then my time was my own.
I could either go and sit to listen what the other technicians were talking about, or I could sleep, or do something.
So I decided to enlist in the fitting and turning department and they taught me how to use all of their machines.
Somehow I think that you know all of this, as maybe I told you before?
