We have had tons of snow when I was a boy and now we are happy when we get 10 or 20 centimeters in the valley. It's all changing and the kids of our grandkids might have a completely different environment. Maybe they'll celebrate Christmas under a Palm tree.

Did you have a look at the snow in Namibia Hannes.
Very large desert areas are covered in snow.
We had a metre at the Sani Pass and the mountains in Lesothu aldo have deep snow in the valleys.
So I suppose that your snow was hi-jacked by South Africa 🤣
Yes, your country might become like South Africa and the kids will like the tons of sunshine.

I have had a busy and longer day at work than I have thought, Zac, and when I wanted to ride home it started to rain. But later the sun has come back and I have spent a few hours in the saddle of my bike, but I also have made a few photos today 😎
Somehow I would like to have a little desert here - I would love to photograph sand dunes and palm trees 😁

One day when you visit here, we will arrange a short flight for you to Namibia and you can spend a day or two taking amazing photos of miles of very high desert sand dunes. We will book you into a tent at an Oasis 😎

Yep, you are right, Zac, it's a male and a female. I am glad that a few photos came out reasonable sharp because it was already getting dark - the sun was setting behind me.
Right, one night is not enough. A whole week would have been cool, but we were part of a group and couldn't stay longer. We have seen other beautiful places the next days anyway, and maybe one day the desert will see me again :)

A masterful photo Hannes and apart frome the sun and the clouds, I also like the lines of the mountains behind each other.
Great that you saw some sights and yes, who knows what will happen in the future.
Maybe one day I will go to Austria and maybe one day you will visit the desert. Let's just hope that it will not be at the same time 🤣
