Awww that's so sad! I looked at some pictures and it looked incredible. Do you know what made it pink and why its no longer pink? If it was such an amazing tourist attraction, if I were the city authorities I'd be filling it with food dye to get the colour back!

I was told the presence of certain types of algae combined with the weather condition turned the water pink. I'm not sure how this phenomenon has impacted on the ecosystem, but it's something fantastic to see. :)
