A squirrel taking her food out of her fridge.
Taking a rest here after mining some for some nuts in the mud.
A Happy Friday to all and today I will show you Squirrel etiquette in their kitchen, which happens to be our garden. I have taken the photos through our study window and it was fun to watch.
Come and have a look.
She is the smallest of the "Tribe" of 5 that we have here and a real little cutie.Albeit a little muddy here.
Let me show you some action. We had rain every day since last Sunday and thankfully today no rain yet. So the ground is wet and soggy.
Madam must have planted something here a week or two ago. So she "Hardforked" from begging at the window and started out on her own. But a hardfork is always tricky and she had to work to get it going again.
Ah, she got it, but the peanuts have started rooting already which did not seem to be much of a problem for her.
Selah! Mission accomplished and she earned the rewards.
I write these Friday squirrel posts with always fun in mind and let me tell you that it is cute to watch these little animal operators. A new litter arrives every year while one of the previous litter will stay to mentor them. The rest of the previous litter disappear into the bushes. Occasionally one of the old crew will return to come and post, or should that be to come and beg a nut here.
Such is the squirrel life here.
And That's All Friends!

How nice it was to stop by to see this squirrel. How good that he had his reward, that is only achieved with sacrifice, like everything in life. What a blessing that you can see these cute little squirrels. Observing them gives us wisdom. Greetings.

Have a nice day!
I love having the squirrels around - so fun to watch!
I have one that makes her nest in our roof each year in a spot just above my office. I can hear her right now making a kind of chirping sound to her young. She sure is busy with them!
I don't mind them being in this part of the house for it is only semi attached to the main part of the house.
I am so hlad that you have a squirrel nesting over there. We also had them in the roof of our old house, but not here, as they nest in the trees in our garden.
Like you we love the little characters and they eat here every day.
Blessings.
