Hi there my Hivean friends and followers!
Welcome to my Video Wednesday series where I share interesting videos that I have taken on my travels with you. Just like the previous episode of the series that I posted here on my blog 2 weeks ago, this one will also take you to beautiful sunny Mexico, particularly to the renowned Mayan Riviera on the eastern coast of the Yucatan Peninsula, washed by the turquoise Caribbean.
In Cancun, there is this stunning beach called Playa Delfines (meaning the Dolphin Beach in English), which is arguably one of the most famous and beautiful beaches in Mexico. I think I have already written some posts about this amazing place and shared some pictures of the beach with you before but I´m pretty sure I haven´t published this video anywhere yet (at least I didn´t find it anywhere on the internet) so it´s my pleasure to do it now here on Hive :)
As always in this series, I actually uploaded the video on Youtube and just added the link to my post but I only use Youtube as a platform to upload my videos for Hive, you can see that in the "about" section on my profile over there where I also invite the Youtube viewers to join Hive :)
I know the video is short, most of my travel videos are actually short as I feel much more comfortable taking photos than videos (I think you can tell that just by the thumbnail picture above :D) but I have been working on improving the quality of my travel videos too so hopefully those that I take now will be better :) This one from Playa Delfines is approximately 5 years old.

Those different shades of blue are amazing. We went here on our honeymoon, so have great memories of the place. I know what you mean about crowded beaches too, my favourites are the deserted ones too, Bottle beach in the North of Koh Phangan a good example.
You spent your honeymoon in Cancun? Wow, what a place for such a special occasion :) If it was a couple of years ago at least, it was also safe (aside from being amazing). Unfortunately, the cartel related violence has lately spilled out to even the most touristy areas like Cancun, Playa and Tulum.
Haven´t been to Thailand myself yet but it´s definitely on my list :) Thanks for stopping by man!
Almost ten years ago at this stage and we had no hassle, but we spent a lot of time at the resort as it was all inclusive and we just wanted to chill.
Maaaaann I miss tropical beaches! Actually considering revisiting Mexico, since it seems to be one of the most non-covid vaxxed friendly! Cheers! !BEER
Yeah, that´s true ;) Mexico has been very benevolent in terms of the covid restrictions. Traveling in general has been very difficult for the unvaxed, I know too well ;) Thanks for your visit my friend!

Beautiful beach with nice palm umbrellas and it is not crowded as other beaches in summers.
A nice one, right? But it actually is kind of crowded to me already, I prefer very quiet, remote beaches :) But this one is like a true beach legend. Everyone has to visit Playa Delfines when in Cancun... Thanks for stopping by man!

Right. And just when it seemed that the world was about to return to the old normalcy after the crazy covid years, the war broke out, changing the perspective on everything again... Turbulent, sad times :/
It definitely a lovely place and I can feel the wave which is pretty heavy when hearing from the background lol
I think it´s acually the wind what you hear in the video ;) The treacherous wind that makes you feel like it´s not so hot while in fact you are being cooked and burnt alive by the scorching sun :D

Thank you but as I mentioned in the post, the video was taken years ago, we don´t live in Mexico anymore :)
The place is a really wonderful place. The joy of wandering around in such a place will be really different.

Když jsem četl nadpis, tak jsem si tě představil, jak dovádíš s delfínama v moři (nebo oceán, či co to tam maj). Chápeš jednoho držíš za ploutev zprava, druhýh zleva, společně plujete, pak zmizíte pod vodou a grande finále je výskok z vody a salto s vrutem. :D

Yes I mean to say 'without'. My smartphone is too sensitive. I need go into settings, adjust the prediction texts. It's so annoying !
