Amazing and sweet jackfruit

in WE ARE MOVING3 years ago

I finally have a chance to join a photo contest from @phortun.

It is true that I have lots of amazing shots about nature in my phone, but most of them were taken a long time ago due to Covid 19 and travel restrictions.

In light of community success, we can travel more freely now and I got to meet my parents after the longest lockdown and social distancing. Last weekend, we decided to celebrate it by having a small family gathering at an eco-tourist attraction in Binh Duong province which is about 44 km from Ho Chi Minh city.

The place is full of fruit trees and flowers, however, I wish there were more shading trees because it was pretty hot during the day.

I love tropical fruits, so it was exciting to wander around the place and learn about the trees. Since I live in the city, it is not every day that I could see the trees that all my favorite fruits come from.

The most impressive tree around the garden must be the jackfruit.

Jackfruit is native to India, but now it is grown in tropical climates around the world.

The fruit has a distinctive aroma that cannot be mistaken even from afar.

it is sweet and can be added to many dishes, especially desserts.

The trees here are so short, but there are so many fruits.

This one in the picture is only a little over 2 meters, the other has more than 15 fruits as I counted, most of them gather around the bottom, I guess because they are too heavy.

a little bonus for anyone who likes to see the fruit

It was refreshing to be close to nature again after a long time. Even though we were exhausted with a long day being outdoors, it was so rewarding when we got to catch up with family and relatives.

Thank @phortun for the contest.
Wish everyone have more time spent in nature!

My favorite as well!
