Hola hivers, en mi publicación pasada les contaba como hice el Hada de la Primavera y que había tenido una indecisión, bueno hoy les vengo a contar a detalle, pero este no será solo un tutorial, también les hablo como artista, o persona creativa y la intuición que se va desarrollando cuando tienes una idea definida tu obra. Resulta que por los colores del rostro y del cabello se me hizo complicado elegir el vestuario, como pueden ver probé varios colores y texturas, como pueden ver en las fotos.
Hello hivers, in my last publication I told you how I made the Spring Fairy and that I had an indecision, well today I come to tell you in detail, but this will not be just a tutorial, I also talk to you as an artist, or creative person and the intuition that develops when you have an idea defined your work. It turns out that because of the colors of the face and hair it was complicated to choose the costume, as you can see I tried several colors and textures, as you can see in the photos.
Fue así como elegí el color esmeralda, en lycra Sofía, entonces reuní el resto de los materiales y me puse manos a la obra: tijeras, hilo, tela organza, aguja y alfileres. Primero, recorté un rectángulo de la tela principal para la falda y en el orillo le cosí la organza con el diseño floreado que ven allí.
So I chose the emerald color, in Sofia lycra, then I gathered the rest of the materials and got to work: scissors, thread, organza fabric, needle and pins. First, I cut out a rectangle of the main fabric for the skirt and sewed the organza with the floral design you see there.
Acto seguido lo ajuste en la cintura del hada, luego recorté lo que sería la parte del top del vestido y lo cosí a la falda, primero enfrentando los derecho y sujetando con alfileres, así cerré todo el vestido y se lo puse al hada, ya aquí no estaba convencida, sin embargo, decidí continuar poniéndole unos lazos a cada lado de las mangas y una flor en el centro de la cintura.
Then I cut out what would be the top part of the dress and sewed it to the skirt, first facing the right sides and pinning, so I closed the whole dress and put it on the fairy, and here I was not convinced, however, I decided to continue putting some bows on each side of the sleeves and a flower in the center of the waist.
Y, si tenía su encanto el hadita con este vestido, de alguna forma sentí que no representaba el estilo deseado, creo que la fantasía no estaba completa, le faltaba ese toque wow, que me hace decir esto si lo hice yo. Es que al ser un hada, para mi debe llevar más delicadeza y brillos como que les comenté en la publicación.
I can say: the fairy had its charm with this dress, somehow I felt that it did not represent the desired style, I think the fantasy was not complete, it lacked that wow touch, which makes me say this if I did it. It is that being a fairy, for me it should carry more delicacy and glitter as I told you in the publication.
Aunque este vestido no fue de mi satisfacción, aprecio el conocimiento, la práctica de hacerlo, el modelo, también me demostré a mi misma que está bien aceptar y hacer algo si no me gusta el resultado, aplaudo el respeto que tuve por mi idea y obra fortaleciendo así mi constancia e intuición. Pues, como artista y creativos en el fan de hacer y terminar puede que nos gane el ego, estando propensos a que pase dos cosas: 1. Nos frustramos y abandonamos la idea o 2. Aceptamos el error, corregimos y mejoramos.
Although this dress was not to my satisfaction, I appreciate the knowledge, the practice of making it, the model, I also showed myself that it is okay to accept and do something if I do not like the result, I applaud the respect I had for my idea and work thus strengthening my perseverance and intuition. Well, as artists and creatives in the fan of doing and finishing, we may be overcome by ego, being prone to two things happening: 1. We get frustrated and abandon the idea or 2. We accept the mistake, correct and improve.
La segunda opción en la mayoría de los casos es la más viable ¿cómo lo sabemos? Pues, mira hacia atrás lo aprendido, revisa tus referencias, las herramientas, de ser posible, vuelves al boceto, verificas tu estilo y comienzas de nuevo, porque el arte no es solo romance, tragedia e improvisación, de hecho los grandes artistas hablan de su constancia, disciplina y preparación, así que mis queridos hivers esta es la reflexión que aprendí y comparto con ustedes.
The second option in most cases is the most viable, how do we know? Well, look back at what you have learned, check your references, the tools, if possible, go back to the sketch, check your style and start again, because art is not only romance, tragedy and improvisation, in fact the great artists speak of their constancy, discipline and preparation, so my dear hivers this is the reflection that I learned and share with you.
