This is my first post in needle work community.
I really inspired from the artworks people show within this community.
So I think i also have to explore this community and express my talent here as well.
I put in a lot of effort into today's post. I do know how to sew, but I'm extremely slow at it. My aunt taught me how to sew; she's an expert tailor and everyone admires the clothes she sews.
In fact, I'm also a huge fan of the clothes she creates. While I learned sewing from her, I don't think I can ever replicate the quality of her work.
To be honest, I believe she's the best tailor in the world. I genuinely adore her sewing skills. People often compliment me, saying my sewing is just as neat and impressive as hers, but I'm not convinced. She's my role model, and I draw inspiration not just from her sewing but from everything she does. Now, you all will see if I've done a good job sewing or not?
Today's dress belongs to my elder sister.
She's married, and there's a tradition in our family that when a new season arrives, the clothes from the previous season are sent to the maternal home.
This dress is part of that tradition, and I'm the one who sewed it.
This is a very special tradition for us, which is why I was very anxious while sewing it. But after completing the sewing, all my anxiety disappeared because I was very pleased with how it turned out, and everyone else also loved it, so I was satisfied.
Procedure
In the start the first step I took is to set up the cloth well after ironing the whole.
Then, I marked all the clothes and after marking, I cut them 1 inch away from the mark so that while sewing, the fabric wouldn't pucker.
With that I also cut the arm with the same method
At that step I stitched the shoulders.
After that I made a neck design for this dress like this.
Then I attached an arms with our dress.
Next I stiched lace with it. With lace it's looking so good.
After doing the whole step and putting some buttons on the neck, this is the final look of my sister's dress.
I hope you all like it.
Keep supporting me.
See you in the next post till then
