En la noche de hoy compartiré un trabajo muy reciente con todos ustedes, se trata de la confección de un lindo bolso con algunos retazos de tela que tengo en casa y que quise aprovechar para su elaboración. Si bien es cierto he hecho muchos bolsos de tela y creo que no me cansaré de hacer todos los que pueda😀. Este que he realizado es especialmente para mi madre ya que ella necesitaba uno para llevar sus libros y algunas otras cosas personales. Creo que el diseño y los colores son muy apropiados para ella. A nuestras madres les gusta mucho este tipo de bolsos en tela ya que son muy cómodos y se pueden lavar sin ningun problema. Hacer estos bolsos no cuesta nada, solo ponerle amor, empeño y tener paciencia si hay que hacerlos a mano. Lo maravilloso de este proyecto es que a pesar del tiempo, pinchazos y cansancio, pude terminarlo con éxito. Me siento muy feliz y satisfecha por terminar este bolso. Tonight I will share a very recent job with all of you, it is about making a nice bag with some scraps of fabric that I have at home and that I wanted to take advantage of to make it. While it is true I have made many fabric bags and I think I will not get tired of making as many as I can😀. This one I made is especially for my mother since she needed one to carry her books and some other personal things. I think the design and colors are very appropriate for her. Our mothers really like this type of fabric bags since they are very comfortable and can be washed without any problem. Making these bags costs nothing, just putting love, effort and patience if you have to make them by hand. The wonderful thing about this project is that despite the time, punctures and fatigue, I was able to finish it successfully. I feel very happy and satisfied to finish this bag. Without further ado, I invite you to read the procedure until the end, let's get started.
Materiales.

Antes de comenzar hacer el bolso, trace los patrones en una hoja de papel para guiarnos, estos patrones lo haremos en la tela con las medidas que tienen cada uno. De cada pieza pequeña recortamos un par.
Before starting to make the bag, trace the patterns on a sheet of paper to guide us. We will make these patterns on the fabric with the measurements that each one has. From each small piece we cut a pair.
Empecemos a recortar los patrones.
Colocamos cada patrón sobre la tela y marcamos por el contorno, ahora vamos a recortar cada una excepto las piezas delantera y trasera por que la haremos de uniendo cada tira.

We place each pattern on the fabric and mark along the edge, now we are going to cut out each one except the front and back pieces because we will do it by joining each strip.
Escogemos los retazos mas grande que tengamos, en mi caso tengo pocos retazos porque creo que los he utilizado todos. En esta ocasión use retazos verde, azul marino rojo y jens para combinar y elaborar mi bolso. Posteriormente recorte varias tiras que al unirlas debe quedar una pieza cuadrada de 31cmsx42cms. También voy a utilizar un buen retazo jeans para que quede por la parte interna del bolso, este retazo jeans también debe ser del mismo tamaño de la pieza anterior.
We choose the largest scraps we have, in my case I have few scraps because I think I have used them all. On this occasion I used green scraps, red navy blue and jens to combine and make my bag. Subsequently, cut out several strips that when joined together should leave a square piece measuring 31cmx42cm. I am also going to use a good piece of jeans so that it fits on the inside of the bag, this piece of jeans must also be the same size as the previous piece.
Confección.
Vamos a unir y a coser las tiras combinando los colores, hacemos dos piezas de estás para la parte delantera y trasera del bolso con las medidas que ya les he mostrado antes, no olvidemos los cortes en la parte inferior.
Preparation.
We are going to join and sew the strips, combining the colors, we make two pieces of these for the front and back of the bag with the measurements that I have already shown you, not forgetting the cuts at the bottom.
Colocamos las piezas decorativas laterales y cosemos, al terminar de coser volteamos la pieza y nos queda de esta manera como ven. Esta pieza es opcional asi que, si no quieres colocarla igual quedará muy bonito el bolso.
We place the side decorative pieces and sew, when we finish sewing we turn the piece over and it looks like this as you can see. This piece is optional so if you don't want to place it, the bag will still look very pretty.
En este paso vamos a coser los colgantes, es muy fácil solo doblamos y cosemos por la parte revés de la tela, volteamos y hacemos costura por fuera.
In this step we are going to sew the pendants, it is very easy we just fold and sew on the wrong side of the fabric, turn it over and sew on the outside.
Lo siguiente que haremos es colocar los colgantes al bolso, medimos unos 7cm a cada lado y colocamos esta tira asi quedarán centrados.
The next thing we will do is place the pendants on the bag, we measure about 7cm on each side and place this strip so they will be centered.
Colocamos la tela jeans sobre la de franjas y hacemos costura en la parte superior. Igualmente vamos a ir haciendo lo mismo con la pieza de atrás.
We place the jeans fabric on top of the striped fabric and sew the top part. We are also going to do the same with the back piece.
Al terminar de coser volteamos la pieza, observen como queda. Hacemos costura por fuera para que se vea muy bonito.
When we finish sewing we turn the piece over, see how it looks. We sew on the outside so it looks very pretty.
Colocamos y cosemos las piezas base en la parte inferior del lado delantero y trasero del bolso.
We place and sew the base pieces at the bottom of the front and back sides of the bag.
Ahora vamos a coser para así unir la parte delantera y trasera, iniciamos cosiendo la base y por los costados.
Now we are going to sew to join the front and back, we start by sewing the base and the sides.
Al unir todo quedará como una abertura a los lados, pero no nos asustemos ya que debemos hacer una costura horizontal al final de la base, observen la imagen.

Al terminar de coser todo, volteamos por la parte derecha de nuestro bolso y así es como debe quedar. Si deseas puedes coser cubre costura en la parte interior para que se vea estético.
When we finish sewing everything, we turn to the right side of our bag and this is how it should look. If you want, you can sew a seam cover on the inside to make it look aesthetic.
