Today, I am back to learning and creativity Wednesdays with my friends from the library that I frequently attend. After a few days of vacation, we started with the activities and workshops.
I was very excited to start with this first two-needle knitting workshop because it is the opportunity for me to learn this technique. I have always liked knitting, but my thing has been more crochet. Now, with the two needles, I feel that I am entering a new and challenging world, but that doesn't discourage me.

Les cuento que hoy retomé los miércoles de aprendizaje y creatividad con mis amigas de la biblioteca a la que asisto frecuentemente. Después de unos días de vacaciones, comenzamos con las actividades y talleres.
Me emocionó mucho comenzar con este primer taller de tejido con dos agujas porque es la oportunidad para que yo aprenda esta técnica. Siempre me ha gustado el tejido, pero lo mío ha sido más el crochet. Ahora, con las dos agujas, siento que estoy entrando en un mundo nuevo y un poco desafiante, pero eso no me desanima.
The teacher is a sweetheart. From the first moment, she welcomed us with a smile, which gave me a lot of confidence. She has a very special way of teaching, with patience and affection. She showed us the basic stitches and how to hold the needles correctly. At first I got a little tangled, my hands didn't know what to do, but with her guidance I progressed little by little.
La profesora es un encanto. Desde el primer momento, nos recibió con una sonrisa, lo cual me dio mucha confianza. Tiene una manera muy especial de enseñar, con paciencia y cariño. Nos mostró los puntos básicos y cómo sostener las agujas correctamente. Al principio me enredé un poco, mis manos no sabían bien qué hacer, pero con su guía fui avanzando poco a poco.

I'm just starting, I know I still have a lot to improve, but I feel motivated, and practice makes perfect, so I won't give up. Besides, sharing this learning with such a nice group makes the experience even more enriching.
I am sure that this workshop will bring me a lot of satisfaction. I can't wait to keep moving forward and, who knows, maybe soon I will knit my first sweater, something I've been wanting to do for a long time.
Here, I am still happy, learning. I'm sure I'll be sharing my first two-needle knitting project with you very soon.
Apenas estoy comenzando, sé que todavía me falta mucho por mejorar, pero me siento motivada, y la práctica hace al maestro, así que no me rendiré. Además, compartir este aprendizaje con un grupo tan agradable hace que la experiencia sea aún más enriquecedora.
Estoy segura de que este taller me traerá muchas satisfacciones. No veo la hora de seguir avanzando y, quién sabe, quizás pronto teja mi primer suéter, algo que deseo desde hace mucho tiempo.
Por acá, sigo feliz, aprendiendo. Seguro, les estaré compartiendo mi primer proyecto tejido con dos agujas muy pronto.

Amiga, que genial!! Yo solo sé crochet, y muy básico. Mi mamá si es una experta con ganchicho y dis agujas. Nos hacía ropita preciosa cuando estábamos pequeñas.
