Hello hiveians

Happy Sunday to you all on this beautiful Sunday morning,

It's my little sister's birthday and I decided to make a beautiful dress for her to celebrate with, though, she but the fabric herself and I told her I will be making it for her as a birthday gift.

She bought a yard of sequence fabric and i began the sewing process.

First I drafted out the bodice on a brown paper to remove all dart and so as to make the dress firm and fitted on her.

I measured the neck width of 4½" and depth, 3½" and pipe it with a Bais tape.

All these were sewn together on my sewing machine.

This is what I have after sewing, the total length of the fabric was 33" after sewing, I have a total length of 32" which will be too short for my sister.

I'm through with the sewing but still thinking of what to add to the sleeves and also to the hem to make dress longer.
