Feliz y emocionada estoy de compartir un nuevo Lunes de agujas en mi comunidad favorita de Hive. Espero que todos ustedes se encuentren muy bien de salud y de ánimos. Hoy les comparto con mucha alegría el resultado final del proyecto que inicié la semana pasada, el cual no había podido continuar debido a una pequeña herida que tenía en uno de mis dedos. Gracias a Dios el día de ayer me pude dedicar a terminarlo y hoy estoy muy contenta de compartirlo con todos ustedes.

Happy and excited to share a new Needle Monday in my favorite Hive community. I hope you are all in great health and spirits. Today I am very happy to share with you the final result of the project I started last week, which I had not been able to continue due to a small wound I had on one of my fingers. Thank God I was able to finish it yesterday and today I am very happy to share it with all of you.

En la primera oportunidad pude tejer la cabeza y las orejitas. El fin de semana trabajé en los brazos y el cuerpo, para luego unir todas las piezas. Les comentó que cuando terminé de tejer el cuerpo, me di cuenta que el cuerpo era delgado en proporción con la cabeza. Lo primero que pensé fue fue que me había equivocado al seguir el patrón. Pero el caso es que no fue así, al mirar la imagen referencial pude notar que efectivamente era un oso delgado. Pues a mi no me gustaba, así que decidí modificar el patrón y hacer a este oso un poco más gordito.

The first time I was able to knit the head and ears. At the weekend I worked on the arms and the body, and then joined all the pieces together. I told them that when I finished knitting the body, I realized that the body was thin in proportion to the head. My first thought was that I had made a mistake in following the pattern. But that was not the case, when I looked at the reference image I could see that it was indeed a thin bear. Well, I didn't like it, so I decided to modify the pattern and make this bear a little chubbier.

Unir las piezas fue más sencillo de lo que esperaba. Para ello use una aguja lanera de plástico ya que tienen el agujero un poco más amplio que las agujas de metal. La parte de rellenar también fue muy fácil y puedo decir que no necesite mucho material para lograr que quedara bien firme. Como toque final le coloqué un lazo en color azul turquesa, lo cual hizo que luzca muy tierno.

Putting the pieces together was easier than I expected. I used a plastic knitting needle since they have a slightly wider hole than metal needles. The filling part was also very easy and I can say that I didn't need a lot of material to make it firm. As a final touch I added a turquoise blue ribbon, which made it look very cute.

Tejer con este nuevo material ha resultado ser una experiencia realmente agradable y placentera, debo decir que es un material fácil de trabajar, en especial con proyectos grandes que no tengan tantos detalles o piezas adicionales.

Knitting with this new material has turned out to be a really pleasant and enjoyable experience, I must say that it is an easy material to work with, especially with large projects that do not have so many details or additional pieces.

Estoy muy ansiosa por seguir comprando muchos más ovillos de este material en diferentes colores, porque ya tengo una lista de posibles proyectos que quedarían muy bien con esta lana chenille. Por lo pronto me toca investigar cómo y dónde puedo comprar más de este material. Me despido deseándoles una excelente y bendecida semana creativa. Gracias a todos por leer, saludos y bendiciones.

I am very anxious to continue buying many more balls of this material in different colors, because I already have a list of possible projects that would look great with this chenille yarn. Espero te encuentres mejor de tu herida, este oso quedó realmente bello y adorable,lo describes sencillo por no tener tantos detalles pero allí es donde todo debe ser más prolijo y realmente se nota la dedicación.

Hola Katty. Que bonito te quedó. Ya en la cabecita se veía que quedaría hermoso. La lana tiene un brillo que ilumina a tu Teddy de manera especial.
Deseo te recuperes completamente de tu dedo, es lo más trágico que le puede pasar a una crochetera, por insignificante que parezca una pequeña herida, puede causar estragos, cuando se trata de tejer.
