I really identified with your posts as I have been wearing glasses since I was very young and knitting with black yarn has always been a headache for me.
In winter most people ask for hats or scarves in black color, which is very tedious for me, I really avoid knitting with black color.

They really like the color black since it's not easily get dirty. @romeskie share her technique to me after posting this by just puting something red in the background as contrast to the color black. I'd like to try it for myself. And I remember someone shared a crochet hook with led light in some online selling platform. 😊
I only make really simple things in black, because it is so hard to count stitches and correct mistakes. Using an Ott-Lite helps with its bright light, but it is still a struggle.
