Hello Needlework friends! Good start of the week for everybody ❤️. In this part of the world, the mornings have already started fresh, so I write you from my bed. For this Monday of NeedleWork I want to show you how I made this panties with adjustable straps 😃.
¡Hola amigos de Needlework! Buen inicio de semana para todos ❤️. En esta parte del mundo ya empezaron las mañanas fresca, así que les escribo desde mi cama. Para este Lunes de NeedleWork quiero mostrarles como preparé esta bombacha con breteles regulables 😃.
A few days ago I decided to cut out all the fabric scraps I had to lower my box of unused fabrics and increase my project bag. To my surprise, I discovered that I had a piece of black lace fabric that I could make a panties out of, but it only reached the front, so I cut the back from cotton ❤️.
Hace unos días me decidí a cortar todos los retazos de tela que tenía para bajar mi caja de telas sin usar y aumentar mi bolsa de proyectos. Para mi sorpresa, descubrí que tenía un resto de tela de encaje negro con la que podía hacer una bombacha, pero solo me alcanzó para el frente, por lo que la parte de atrás la recorté en tela de algodón ❤️.
As always, the first step is to join the pieces together with a straight stitch. The pieces are three: front, back and internal reinforcement. Then, elastic is placed on all the edges.
Como siempre, el primer paso es unir las piezas entre sí con puntada recta. Las piezas son tres: frente, espalda y refuerzo interno. Luego, se coloca elástico en todos los bordes.
Here I was also taking advantage of all the small pieces of elastic that I had left. As this panties is small, it was very good for me to finish taking advantage of them.
Aquí también estuve aprovechando todos los pequeños pedazos de elástico que me quedaron. Como esta bombacha es pequeña, me vino muy bien para terminar de aprovecharlos.
To add the straps, small washers are placed on that end of the panties.
Para añadir los breteles, se colocan pequeñas arandelas en que extremo de la bombacha.
To assemble the straps, you need strap elastic and a slide. I bought a lot of these heart slides which are very cute ❤️.
Para armar los breteles, se necesita elástico de breteles y una corredera. Yo compré un montón de estas correderas de corazón que son muy delicadas ❤️.
The only problem is that it is still difficult for me to put the strap together so that my heart does not stay the other way around, so this takes a few minutes 😂.
El único problema es que aún me cuesta armar el bretel para que el corazón no me quede al revés así que en esto demoro algunos minutos 😂.
