Hello friends of Needle Work! Monday again 😃💛. I hope you are good. Today I want to show you this new panty that I made with the last piece of black lace that I had. It had a good life and was able to give birth to three garments! 😂
¡Hola amigos de Needle Work! Lunes de nuevo 😃💛. Espero que se encuentren muy bien. Hoy quiero mostrarles este nuevo modelo de panty que hice con el último retazo de encaje negro que tenía. Tuvo una buena vida y fue capaz de dar a luz a tres prendas 🤣.
This time I bought a digital lingerie course on the Cursos Live page. This course is in PDF and it already comes with the molds included, so I just had to print them out and choose one that "was supposed to be my size." I cut all the necessary pieces: front and back in lace and reinforcement in cotton fabric. This time I used my beloved rotary cutter 😍.
Esta vez compré un curso digital de lencería en la página de Cursos Live. Este curso es en PDF y ya viene con los moldes incluidos, así que solo tuve que imprimirlos y elegir uno que “se suponía que era de mi talla”. Corté todas las piezas necesarias: delantero y trasero en encaje y refuerzo en tela de algodón. Esta vez estrené mi querido cutter rotatorio 😍.
What I love about this is that putting the elastic on the edges is like bringing the piece to life. It is the detail that makes these garments beautiful.
Lo que amo de esto es que ponerle los elásticos a los bordes es como darle la verdadera vida a la pieza. Es el detalle que hace hermosas a estas prendas.
Well, everything was going well and I finished sewing everything, BUT when I went to try on the garment, it didn't fit! It was very small. I don't know what happened haha. But how luckily, in addition to being a seamstress, I am an engineer! So I was able to devise a master plan to enlarge the waist 😂. I cut what I had sewn and put some elastic strips to the cuts and it was perfect there!
Bueno, todo iba bien y terminé de coser todo, PERO cuando voy a probarme la prenda ¡No me entraba! Era muy pequeña. No sé qué sucedió haha. Pero cómo por suerte además de ser costurera soy Ingeniera, pude idear un plan maestro para agrandar la cintura 😂. Corté lo que había cosido y puse unas tiras de elásticos a los cortados y ¡ahí sí me quedó perfecta!
Without thinking it, I have a custom panties model. This is the final result!
Sin pensarlo tuve un modelo personalizado de bombacha. ¡Este es el resultado final!
Since I don't have any more free lace, I will have to buy more. I would like buy it in red, these garments would look great in this color 🔥.
Como ya no tengo más encaje gratis, tendré que comprar más. Quisiera conseguir rojo, estas prendas quedarían muy bien en este color 🔥.

I have some lace ....hmm...nooooooo!! hahaha ! well, I have to be sincere to that, I used to wear that kind of underwear when I was 18 years old , and I was really struggling to walk :D But, I like your lace..idea..in an underwear in my size and much wider of course :D Nice job, as always !

I had to smile (ok, laugh) I wear panties in funny colors which perhaps would suit an eight year old :-DDDD I love the idea of lace underwear, but my backside is not lace-friendly :-DDDDDD

Again I am amazed how you can work with these tiny straps and delicate lace... I would have never thought that the stripes on the sides were a later addition, they fit perfectly into the design.
They were the last minute solution hahaha but they were very good!
These fabrics are very beautiful, I'm not even close to achieving the results I want but one step at a time. ❤️
