Hello Hive
They said that learning never ends and this is so true for every aspect of our lives.
Fashion never fades, there are always new styles and new things to learn how everyday.
Last week I made a baby's tulle outfits but I noted how I can improve on this and decided to try something new on another version of the same style of outfit n.
The other time I have used tulle and a white visible crinoline at the base here.
But to have a more neater dress since I have alot of the African print fabric.
I have concealed the crinoline base here with the fabric, the effect I wanted to see were just the curves around the base from the gathered tulle net.
This way we don't have a white crinoline showing under a yellow tulle net unlike the first dress.
I had to make use of this idea since we do not have different colors of crinoline to match the different tulle nets we used in making baby outfits.
And guess what, even old outfits can be recycled to make them new with a tulle magic and am excited to transform my babies outfit and sew new ones for her in this fashion.
Sewing the upper bodice.
The tulle net and crinoline base.
A gathers of satin for the lower part of the body.
And here is our dress and the little model my niece, am sure you haven't chased a model for a picture before because today I did.
My baby was super excited about the new dress, she loves new outfits especially if they are bright colors and extravagant ones like this.
These kids learn so fast and am just surprised.
I titled this a tool magic because its amazing to see the wonderful things people are doing with tulle in the fashion industry.
Have you seen bridal shower outfits made of tulle, baby tulle dress made extravagantly.
Am heading in that direction and one has to learn from this simple basics making gathers in different directions
Most of these outfits are expensive when you spend a whole lot to buy plenty of tulle.
For now a standard baby dress needs at least 10yards of tulle sold do plus a bridal net, linings, stains and lots more..
It will cost at least $20 to get some cooler outfits.
For this am practicing and getting better with smaller yards of both fabrics and tulle.
I could start to do some magic sooner and there is always room to learn new things
Happy and beautiful new Monday to everyone.
Hope the day is coming on well.
Happy new mont

Thank you so much. 💖
Hello Monica. This dress turned out so beautiful on you and I understand that it is difficult trying to photograph a baby, they have so much energy haha. But you did very well.
It is true that tulle is very present in costumes now, around here they even make tulle costumes for graduation days: when you finish your university degree, the tradition is to dirty it with foam and things that stain, and for that they dress up like this the celebration is more fun (poor the seamstress who did it and then has to see her suit ruined, but that's the end of that suit).
I'm glad you're learning new things. Expanding horizons never hurts.
Greetings, have a great day ❤️.
What a beautiful outfit you have created @monica-ene, for such a pretty princess. With the change you have made the dress looks much more harmonious, plus the African print is super cute. Congratulations my friend. Great job.
